Beautiful needlepoint and embroidery of a Parisian ladies in pink and green with a fantastic floral bonnet, tied under the chin with a bow, and wearing a high-collar coat. The stitchwork is varied in style giving texture and contrast to the picture. It uses both wool crewel and silky embroidery floss. The ladies are done in a Huldah manner after the artwork of Cherry Jeffe Huldah (1901-2001). She painted in a style reminiscent of French Impressionism portraying young ladies in romantic fashions. Each picture measures 9.5" x 7.5" with an ornate wood and gesso frame and mounted under glass. The frame has small cracks and vintage wear; ready to hang.
